"Being a trainer for over seventeen years and owning a Doggie daycare training center in Southeastern, CT. I have never been more impressed working with Sutton Pets full pet care facility. His name was 'Lemon' a Yorkshire terrier that came to me with major anxieties and barking issues. He would leave his home and bark and growl and carry on constantly from the time he went out on his walk until he got back to his 'safe place' home. He would jump up and go crazy when he saw another dog. The owners thought he was dog aggressive. Taking him Sutton I had the freedom and opportunity to test him with multiple dogs off leash. He was GREAT! Then I recommended a couple of days of doggie play care there because I knew I could work with the staff and get reports on his behaviors. It eneded up Lemon had leash aggression and major separation anxiety and was just a dominant little dog that was mis-understood. Working with Lemon for 3 days while he was boarded at Sutton place asking the daycare staff to do certain things if he got very barky not only made Lemon more at ease. It also gave me the tools to accelerate his training, desensitize him to some of his street fears and he was able to do commands in the street and make some friends along the way. Thank you Marcia and the staff at Sutton for making my job easier but also taking a misunderstood dog that is called 'Lemon' and helping me turn him into a peach."

I have had my dogs groomed and boarded with Marcia Habib at Sutton Dog Parlour for more than 20 years. I live on the Upper West Side and have never been able to find a facility, owner and staff that is close to comparable in my neighborhood or in the suburbs.
My dogs look forwards to going to Sutton Dog Parlour for both grooming and boarding. They are well cared for, beautifully groomed, and have a wonderful time in playcare.
The playcare is always well supervised and the staff makes sure that the dogs enjoy themselves. Bad behavior is dealt with appropriately and swiftly. The dogs are able to use both the inside and outside play areas, are always supplied with clean water and the staff keeps the areas clean and safe.
The grooming is impeccable. My dogs like the groomers and have never been hurt in any way. The groomers go out of their way to make the grooming experience a positive one, even when my dogs are badly matted.
Marcia and her staff are very caring and reponsible. Marcia has a relationship of trust and respect with my veterinarian. Her trust and respect are well earned. In fact, I found Sutton Dog Parlour because my vet recommended it.
I intend to continue to bring my dogs to Sutton Dog Palour for as I remain a dog owner.

"I have come to depend upon the exceptional services of Marcia Habib and the staff of The Sutton Playcare Center during a 6-day/week schedule over the past year. During 1998, my beloved Golden Retriever became the victim of a very fast moving cancer which took his life relatively quickly to my great grief. During his last two months of life, the medication he took required 24 hour/day human care and outdoor accessibility that I would have been unable to give him myself due to my work schedule. I am very grateful to have had the ability to bring him to the loving and reliable arms of Marcia and her staff and the facilities of the Center. The last weeks of his life were immeasurably improved (as were mine) by the joy and pleasure that he received by playing with other dogs daily at the Center and receiving human and humane attention while there.
More recently, my Golden Retriever puppy, Victoria, has been diagnosed with a potentially progressive congenital heart defect which again requires a 6 day/week active running and playing schedule to keep her "heart healthy." Once again, Marcia and the staff have been extremely responsive and helpful in providing an essential service to me (and other community members I am certain) with daily care for my dog, and at other times secure and confident boarding care for both my dog and cat. In short, The Sutton Playcare Center operates an exceptional, clean, and necessary community service upon which I have come to depend."
